Website of the Deacon Centre, Caterham - a creative space for Service Users with Physical, Mental, Learning and Communicative Disabilities, inspired by the life and work of Joey Deacon.

Hello!

Welcome to the website of the Deacon Centre, a creative space for Service Users with Physical, Learning and Communication disabilities and those who care for them. We are a registered charity, based in Caterham, Surrey.

Here you can find out more about who we are, what we do and how to donate. You can also learn a little about who Joey Deacon was and why we take our name and our inspiration from him.

Update - May/June 2021:

We are currently trialling user activity sessions with small groups of Service Users and are delighted to announce that we have received funding via the People's Postcode Lottery to help us with our work.

You can also now donate via LocalGiving.org, and follow us on Facebook and LinkedIn.

We have a new media resources section where you can download posters to promote the centre and read our 2021 prospectus.
